School Board Goals

While the Woodbury Town school board has many pieces of work, the primary current goals of the board relate to the budget and Act 46. As in every year, before Town Meeting Day, the board approves a budget that best meets the school’s educational needs in the most judicious financial manner possible. Additionally this year, the board has initiated the lengthy and deliberative process of complying with Act 46.

All these meetings are open to the public, and the board actively seeks community input on the budget and the future of the Woodbury School.

As an overall goal, the Woodbury Town school board, while remaining cognizant of taxpayer cost, seeks to support the best public education possible for the town’s children.
